Felted Purse

I finished my felted purse. I'm very happy with how it turned out. I'm a little addicted to knitting purses now. I am already looking for my next purse pattern.

I decided to knit everyone a washcloth for their birthday this year. Here's the first one, it's for my mom. I just mailed it today, but I doubt she reads my blog. So the secret is safe! :-)

I like them! I added a few rows because I wear a size 9, but then ended up a bit too big. Oh well, not bad for my first try at slippers!

Knit Slippers with Crochet Trim

After I finish the feather and fan scarf, which my sister has claimed, I will attempt these slippers. Wish me luck!

I found this free knitting pattern on Lion Brand's website. I think it is so cute and want to knit at least one up before Christmas. Only trouble is I know I don't have the time. I guess I'll have to buy the yarn (heehee) and make some for next year.

I Learned to Make a Cable

The library was having a Knit Out and offered a class on knitting cables. Even though I've been knitting for a few years, my projects have been pretty basic. So, I went to the class. I found that making a cable is pretty easy! Well, at least the one in the dishcloth pattern they gave me. I finished it and now my daughter is using it for a Barbie blanket. I thought it was too fancy for the dishes! (free pattern from the library, sugar 'n cream yarn, size 8 needles)
